St Peter & St Oswalds Centenary Celebrations2010 was St Oswald’s centenary year.

BBC Songs of Praise was broadcast  from St Oswald’s church on 24th October and 5th December 2010.
 Quiet Garden the seats are now in place, take the opportunity to have a walk into it Stop! take a deep breath and listen to the water rippling.The Labyrinth is also now finished take a look!!
We now support the "Food Bank"which is designed to help  families in crisis through local professional care workers in the Sheffield area.We collect every Sunday at church and then take it to the distribution centre
We are a very active church look below at a few of our events

  MOTHER&TODDLER GROUP    meet most Mondays in the Church Hall at 9.30am ish tp 11.30 am ish.

 KNIT & NATTER                             Every Wednesday at 10.00am  to 12 noon

PRAYERS FOR PEACE                   Every 2nd Saturday in the month at noon in the Quiet Garden, 30mins.of prayer and contemplation "

January 7th  We are having a joint service with our Mission Partnership Churches at St.Andrews on Psalter Lane.at 10.30am (There will be no service at St Oswalds Church that day)

January 13th Saturday  Vigil for Peace at 12noon 

January 25th Thursday 10.00am Service and prayers fro Christian Unity

January 27th  Saturday "Crafty Club" 2-4-00pm (Volunteers appreciated )

January 27th De Clutter Starts 10.00am

FEBRUARY

 Saturday 10th "Vigil for Peace" 12 noon in the "Quiet Garden"

Tuesday 12th at 4.00pm Pancake party for Kids

Wednesday 14th Joint Mission Partnership "ASH WEDNESDAY" SERVICE at 7.00pm
