St Peter & St Oswalds Centenary Celebrations2010 was St Oswald’s centenary year.

BBC Songs of Praise was broadcast  from St Oswald’s church on 24th October and 5th December 2010.
 Quiet Garden the seats are now in place, take the opportunity to have a walk into it Stop! take a deep breath and listen to the water rippling.The Labyrinth is also now finished take a look!!
We now support the "Food Bank"which is designed to help  families in crisis through local professional care workers in the Sheffield area.We collect every Sunday at church and then take it to the distribution centre
We are a very active church look below at a few of our events

  MOTHER&TODDLER GROUP    meet most Mondays in the Church Hall at 9.30am ish tp 11.30 am ish.

 KNIT & NATTER                             Every Wednesday at 10.00am  to 12 noon

PRAYERS FOR PEACE                   Every 2nd Saturday in the month at noon in the Quiet Garden, 30mins.of prayer and contemplation "

Saturday 21st  "Pilgrimage" to High Bradfield St Nicholas Church folowed by lunch at the "(Old Horns Inn ") please book at church ,and a visit to "Our Cow Molly" Ice cream Parlour Saturday  28th "Crafty Club 2-4pm 

AUGUST Saturday 11th  12 noon "Peace Vigil"

15TH =23RD   Nether Edge Festival

Sunday 16th Nether Edge Farmers Market

 

SATURDAY 22ND  CRAFTY CLUB 2-4.00PM
